I help small and midsize HOA and property management companies cut the repetitive administrative work that eats their team's week: incomplete forms, scattered requests, the same questions answered again and again. The fix starts with the process, then getting full value from the software they already own.
Start with a conversation See how I workA focused audit of your core workflows: where time goes, where information gets re-typed, and which of your platform's features sit unused.
Redesign the workflow in the tools you already pay for: standard options instead of free text, templates instead of blank pages, one place for every request.
Simple automation only where the time savings are obvious and measurable. No rip-and-replace, and no AI for its own sake.
A map of where your team's hours actually go, a review of how fully you're using your current software, and a prioritized 90-day plan for getting time back.
One painful workflow (intake, maintenance coordination, resident communications, or board packets), rebuilt end to end, documented, and handed over with training.
Ongoing, capped hours each month: continuous small improvements, a standing backlog, and a technically fluent person on your side of calls with your software vendors.
Every engagement starts with one workflow, a fixed price, and success measures we agree on before work begins. For example, the share of requests that arrive complete the first time, and the staff minutes each request takes. If the measures aren't met, I keep iterating at no additional charge, or the balance isn't owed.
I'm Renata Maraj, an engineering manager who has spent my career leading software teams and modernizing older applications, including at PayPal, where I worked on systems that had to be reliable at serious scale. I now work at a smaller company where technology sits close to daily business operations, which taught me that most "technology problems" are really process problems with a tool attached.
I also manage rental property myself, and I live in a professionally managed community, so I've seen this work from the operator's desk, the owner's side, and the resident's side of the form.
This is a deliberately small practice. I take a limited number of engagements, work mostly asynchronously, and measure success in hours handed back to your team.
One conversation, no pitch deck. We'll talk through your team's most repetitive work and whether it's worth fixing, and I'll tell you honestly if it isn't.
